Is the local non-profit community action agency.  They help low income, families who are seeking self-sufficiency, and are general poverty fighting organization in Cobb County.  They take application for various energy bill assistance programs, offer free grants for rent or housing, job programs and more.

 This Marietta based group phone (770) 428-2601 may be able to offer help with paying rent, mortgage, utilities, or other housing expenses. Qualified people can get up to $700 in rent or mortgage assistance, and up to $500 in utilities and cooling bills assistance is available to families once-in-a-lifetime.

Meals on Wheels is a nationwide program that provides older Americans nutritious meals and safety checks at little to no cost. The meals can be delivered to your home if you meet eligibility requirements, or you can go to a congregate nutrition site for socialization and food. If you struggle with isolation and meal prep, then Meals on Wheels could provide ease and companionship.
