To ensure families are emotionally, socially and financially able to have a happy sustainable lifestyle and to educate on a better path to life in a positive, Christian-like manner. We believe that restored families serve the community as more productive citizens. Together we will achieve these goals and give insight for the community to become a better place of living.

Brief Program Summary

The main objective is to provide support services for families with needs such as Emergency Food & Clothing, Utility Assistance, Martial and Premarital Profession Counseling,Parenting Classes, Youth Programs, Basic Finance Classes, Money Matters, After School Mentoring, Weekly Bible Studies, Assistance in Job Skill and Job Placement, Senior Services, Health & Fitness Classes, Gym, Computer Lab, and other community activities.

SVCAMP

We strive to provide  comfort ,aid, and stability during emergency situations. Our Food Pantry, Clothing Closet and Financial Aid office are open six days a week from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Services are available to residents of Clarkdale, Austell, Mableton, and Power Springs who are currently at or below the federal poverty level.

Hands of Love

Hands of Love is multi-housing ministry outreach whose goal is to develop relationships with families in apartment complexes and reach them with the gospel of Jesus through servant -hood ministry and verbal witness. In multi-housing ministry, we take the church to the people. The opportunities of service are limitless as the people in our churches. Shepard's Rest Ministries, Inc.

 Shepherd's rest is a family violence crisis center which provides a 24-hour crisis line, emergency housing, emergency transportation, legal advocacy,food,clothing,counseling,resource referrals,and financial aid, with efforts concentrated on enabling and empowering abused and homeless women in becoming self -sufficient and gainfully employed by providing them with skills in problem resolution, coping, parenting, and practical job market/job retention skills in an effort to break the cycle of domestic violence.
